Cha-Am coast loop
A half-day loop north of Hua Hin: Maruekhathaiyawan Palace, then on to the beach at Cha-Am.
Approx. distance from Khao Takiab: Approx. 25 km round trip from Hua Hin to the palace and the beach (from Khao Takiab add the ride through town; check the total on Google Maps).
Route outline
- Ride north through Hua Hin town towards Cha-Am.
- Stop at Maruekhathaiyawan Palace (check its opening days and dress code before you go).
- Continue to the Cha-Am beach road, then return the same way.

- Your driving licence plus an International Driving Permit with the motorcycle category
- Rental papers and your phone
- Sun protection and water

- Traffic through town is busiest in the late afternoon; leave early to enjoy the coast road.
