Accident & emergency help

What to do if something goes wrong on the road, who to call, and the cover that already comes with every Boyko bike.

Emergency numbers

Checked against the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs list, October 2026.

After an accident: step by step

  1. Stay safe: switch off, hazard lights on, move off the road if you safely can.
  2. Anyone hurt? Call 1669 straight away. Don’t move someone who is seriously injured.
  3. If another vehicle, an injury or an argument is involved, call the police on 191 or 1155 and ask for a copy of the report.
  4. Call or WhatsApp us. We will help you.
  5. Take photos of every vehicle, the number plates, the scene and the damage.
  6. Get the other party’s name, phone, plate number and insurer.
  7. Don’t agree to pay anything at the scene. Wait for the police and for us.
  8. Keep your medical certificate, receipts and the police report.

Please get travel insurance

Por Ror Bor is not enough for a serious injury. Buy travel insurance that covers motorbike riding, check it covers the engine size you ride, and carry the right licence.

Boyko Rider Emergency Assistance: free

Free of charge and not insurance. We don’t pay medical bills, but we will:

  • answer your call and help you reach the ambulance, police or an interpreter
  • tell you the nearest suitable hospital
  • come to the scene or the hospital where we can, and take care of the bike
  • give you the Por Ror Bor policy details and help with the claim paperwork
  • arrange a replacement bike under your rental agreement

We plan to work with a licensed insurer so you can buy personal accident cover in future. Boyko does not sell any insurance at present.
