Who we are

Boyko’s Bike Rental Hua Hin (“we”) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact details are at the end of this notice.

What we collect

Through the booking form: your name, WhatsApp or phone number, email (optional), nationality (optional), your answer about your motorcycle licence, rental dates, chosen bike, pick-up or delivery details (hotel name or address), any notes you add, whether you opted in to marketing, and a referral code if you arrived through a partner link.

Through the hotel partner form: property name, your name and role, email and/or phone, and your message.

At handover: a copy of your passport. We never keep the original passport.

We do not collect payment details on this website.

Why we use it

To reply to and manage your rental request and rental (steps at your request before a contract, and performing the contract).

To identify the renter and to deal with any traffic fines issued during the rental, using the passport copy taken at handover (performing the contract and complying with legal obligations).

To keep records needed for our business and legal obligations.

To prevent abuse of our forms (legitimate interests).

To send occasional offers — only if you ticked the marketing box (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us run the website, store data and send email, acting on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data.

Some of these providers may store data outside Thailand; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by the PDPA.

How long we keep it

We keep rental records for as long as needed to provide the rental and meet legal and accounting obligations. Requests that do not become rentals are deleted after a shorter period. Exact retention periods are being finalised.

Passport copies are stored securely and kept only as long as needed for the rental and any related traffic fines. The exact retention period is being finalised.

Cookies

If you arrive through a partner link, we set one first-party cookie (boyko_ref) for 30 days so we know which partner referred you. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this site.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask to access, correct, or delete your data, obtain a copy, object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).
